A one-of-a-kind platform for graduating students, where four months of classroom sessions and training translate into unique interpretations of style and function – the first artistic entry for their professional hairdressing portfolio.
‘The Beginner Course’ is a Vipul Chudasama Academy flagship the brings forth the best of young Indian hairdressing talent. The Academy Collection is a showcase of their artistic vision through the creative exploration of newly acquired skills. Simply put – it is the ultimate graduation project that prepares our Beginner students for the real world. From planning the look to props and setting up the shoot, working on the Vipul Chudasama Academy Collection gives our students a first taste of the job they have been training for – be it as a freelance stylist or a salon professional.
An Exclusive Opportunity
The Vipul Chudasama Academy Collection has been a part of our Beginner Program for over two years – every batch of Beginner students are given the chance to experience this professional project before they venture out into the fashion and beauty industry to find their own space. The biggest takeaway for graduating students is that they have a guaranteed first project to feature in their professional portfolios – a must for any passionate hair artist looking to make their mark in the hairdressing industry.
Just before the beginning of 2020, the Vipul Chudasama Academy Collection passed another milestone with its editorial debut. Beauty Launchpad Magazine featured the collection created by our students in their December 2019 issue – an extraordinary feat for any fresher in the Indian hairdressing industry, as this offers increased visibility to their work as well as more opportunities to showcase their skills at such an early stage in their careers.
The Process
The Vipul Chudasama Academy Collection is the final step for the graduating students of our four-month ‘Beginner Course’. While the academy mentors continue to guide then, the students are expected to plan and execute their respective looks. And it’s not just about cutting, colouring, and styling – teamwork is the key here. From finding the right models to interacting with the make-up artist and photographer, they are challenged with bringing together different aspects and balancing them to showcase their art in the best possible way.
